About Julia Shipman, Eit

I am a passionate and driven recent graduate student from Kennesaw State University where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree. While at KSU, I recognized my love for engineering, in particular structural engineeering. I have gained valuable experience in construction management, communication, and technical skills through my internship with Brasfield & Gorrie, where I handled submittals and RFIs, punch list, progress reports, and maintained Excel tracking logs of revised drawings, submittals, and RFIs. My career goals are to continue working towards obtaining my Professional Engineer license, gain engineering experience through mentorship, and acquire my masters in structural engineering. I want to improve the development of communities in positive and impactful ways.
