CurrentI am responsible for all the activities in the Thames Area of the Environment Agency. I lead all staff and deliver every aspect of environmental work with substantial budgets. This includes two national infrastructure programmes to protect communities at flood risk, environmental planning, waste management, nuclear regulation and waterways management. I work closely with politicians, government departments, sponsoring departments, Defra, local authorities, other professional partners, stakeholders and members of the public.In 2012 I was responsible for the environmental planning and delivery for the Olympics. Over the past 5 years I have led and embedded 3 significant organisational change programmes. I was awarded an MBE in 2015 for services to the environment.
