A self-published literary journal of my creation. Mind Swimmer is a journal focused on psychology and exploring the mind. Without the help of additional editors, I have published 15 pieces online, with an exclusive 16th piece in the full journal. Utilizing InDesign and Wix, I designed my own magazine and website. Job duties include reading and editing poetry/fiction submissions, publishing pieces on our website, searching for art to pair with literature, proofreading the final edition of each issue before print, and running all social media accounts. During my first semester I republished a previous print issue to our WordPress website, which required communication with authors for permission and audio, formatting, proofreading, and including a fitting open-source piece of art.

Job duties include hiring new student employees, creating innovative ways to find more potential hires, holding orientations, scheduling, email communication, training new hiring managers, and keeping everything organized on OneDrive. I took the time to edit and reorganize all hiring documents, including an orientation script that did not reflect the current Employee Handbook.
