Work with PULSE, a peer health education group to plan and facilitate events and presentations about safe sex including STI protection, contraception, consent & communication, pleasure, and healthy relationship building for college peers. Interact with other peers to help spread information and offer resources that encourage them to make the safest, healthiest sexual health choices. Support other leads and volunteers in programming about safer partying and self care.

I prepare and give presentations to cohorts of 500 incoming first-years at Cal Poly, revise and create interactive sexual health education presentations for Cal Poly students, assist in updating PULSE’s certified peer educator training, and help with various organizational tasks to help make PULSE run smoother.

I managed guest reception and seating, ensuring a seamless dining experience. My responsibilities included greeting guests, organizing reservations, managing take-out orders, turning over tables, bringing guests their food, and assisting in opening and closing tasks.

My duties included order processing/cashier running, food preparation, cash handling, inventory management, opening and closing the store, and creating waffle cones, chocolates, and taffy. I frequently managed the store alone as the only employee working.
