Previously I worked on the Healthy Eating and Physical Activity project in Tamworth, delivering sessions to children under the age of 11. Primarily I delivered cooking workshops to children aged 0-5 in SureStart children's centres. The sessions included food preparation, cooking, tasting healthy new foods, playing and learning new ways to get children to be active.For the Youth Education team I have worked on a variety of projects; Particip8 - helping 16-19 year old people find employment and gain employability skills over a 10 week course; delivering sessions on financial awareness and mental health as part of the Living Well for Less programme; and assisting delivery on gang and violence workshops in both youth centre and detached settings.
