I'm the CEO of Bad Trader and author of "The Unlucky Investor’s Guide to Options Trading." I transitioned into finance in 2020 and worked as a quantitative researcher and content creator alongside Tom Sosnoff at the financial network, tastylive. After publishing "The Unlucky Investor’s Guide" in 2022, I spent the following year promoting my book at talks across the country on tastylive’s “Bad Trader” tour. Now, with several years of experience in investor education and a deep passion for memes, I'm focusing on building up the Bad Trader community. I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I earned bachelor’s degrees in engineering physics (2017) and applied mathematics (2017) and a master’s in physics (2018). My focus throughout my graduate and undergraduate studies was experimental quantum optics, and my primary projects included investigating the effects of measurement in optical quantum systems and using single-photon sources to determine the lower limits of human vision and perception.
