Julia Streit studied business administration at the University of Potsdam from 2005 to 2010, majoring in marketing. She was a research assistant at the Chair of Marketing for one year and gained experience in SEO /SEA at an e-commerce company. Since 2019, Julia Streit has been intensively involved in the topic of sustainable digitization and climate neutrality and supports ScaleUp in continuously improving its own C02 footprint. ScaleUp is planning a data center with waste heat recovery in Berlin-Mahlsdorf together with Penta Infra and is switching the operation of its cloud to refurbished hardware and energy-saving open compute hardware. Julia Streit is currently preparing a carbon footprint for the company and developing a concept for climate-neutral hosting.
