In this Dutch TV show Professor Dr. Frans Grijzenhout, together with his research team, dives into the world of 17th-century Dutch Old Master paintings. During these thrilling quests, the team has to solve riddles and manages to identify several people. It provides an interesting insight into art-historical research and its socio-economic focus gives the viewers a glimpse into unique Golden Age-archival sources.During one of their investigations, the team has been able to establish the subject of Ferdinand Bols' Portrait of a Boy, now on view in The National Gallery in London.
