I lead teams and work individually to design data models, application modules, application infrastructure, and patterns to support complex business rules for many areas of the business, including scheduling, billing, price increases, and integrating automatic credit card charges and an optimized scheduling package into our custom software. I monitor data integrity and excel at data analysis, data detective work, and problem solving. I analyze interfaces between systems, identify problem areas, and correct the issues or suggest solutions for other teams. I am involved in all phases of software development, from design through deployment and support, including database design. Databases used are DB2 and SQL Server. Reporting tools used are Actuate Reporting and Actuate Espreasheet designer. Programming languages used are CA-PLEX (formerly OBSYDIAN), JAVA with JSP & Servlets, Javascript, SQL and SQL Stored Procedures.

Developed a web application to track time reporting for internal use. Used Java with JSP, Servlets, and Javascript accessing data from an Oracle database.

I led a team of 7 developers to convert the back end of a complex Flow Manufacturing application from CA/2E to CA-Plex. We later developed a key performance indicators web dashboard interface for the application in Java. I designed and coded patterns for application infrastructure, and business logic modules. Languages used were Java, CA/2E, and CA-Plex, with a SQL Server database. I was also responsible for creating processes and creating and maintaining documents for ISO certification.

Multi-faceted responsibilities for this CASE tool software vendor that created the Synon/2E (now CA:2E) and Obsydian (now CA:Plex) CASE tools. My responsibilites for both the 2E and Plex products included pre-sales support, hotline support for customers and to support our consultants in the field, customer application consulting, developing training materials, delivering training classes in branch offices and at client sites, presenting at conferences, and performing QA for new product releases.Wrote a bi-directional bridge to transfer data and code models between the IEF and 2E CASE tools using RPG and 2E.
