Until recently Julia Schleppe was part of the 1100 Architect design team which she had joined in 2010 with extensive design experience. At 1100 she worked on several large scale as well as small scale institutional and residential projects. Prior to 1100, Julia worked for three years for Urban A&O, where she worked on many high profile buildings as a project manager and designer, including the Johnson & Johnson pavilion at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the Metropolis Booth ICFF in New York City. With a background in both traditional and progressive methods, she is well versed in software such as Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, VectorWorks, CATIA and the complete Adobe Creative Design Suite. Julia received her Master of Architecture with honors in 2006 at Pratt Institute while on a Fulbright Scholarship. A native of Germany, she received her Diploma Graduate Engineer in Architecture (FH) degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, Germany in 2004 and her Bachelor degree at the University of Applied Sciences in Biberach a. d. Riß, Germany in 2001.
