As the Executive Director, I represent the American Red Cross in the community by focusing externally on core mission delivery, fundraising and being the face of the Red Cross. My responsibilities include volunteer development, fundraising, relationship management and engagement of the Board of Directors. My role provides leadership and direction to volunteers and employees ensuring the goals and mission of the American Red Cross are effectively delivered.Responsibilities include developing and growing financial resources in the community; build stong relationships with key organizations and community leaders; cultivate relationships and partnerships with external constituents in the local community, including donors, governments, corporate partners, civic organizations and other community charitable and nonprofit agencies with the purpose of furthering the mission of the Red Cross throughtout Southeast Tennessee.

As the Community Development Manager, I represent the American Red Cross in the community by focusing externally on core mission delivery, fundraising and being the face of the Red Cross for the media, donors and their communities. I provide oversight of Red Cross external relations, and fundraising within a 6 county area of Southeast Tennessee. I am responsible for developing and growing financial resources in the community; build stong relationships with key organizations and community leaders; cultivate relationships and partnerships with external constituents in the local community, including donors, governments, corporate partners, civic organizations and other community charitable and nonprofit agencies with the purpose of furthering the mission of the Red Cross.

As the Community Chapter Executive Director, I provided leadership and management in planning, implementing, developing and reviewing the delivery of American Red Cross services for a designated community area to include Bradley, Polk, Meigs and McMinn Counties. Responsible for the oversight of the area’s resources and operations and the effective supervision of its paid and volunteer staff.
