Starting June 2022, I am resigning from the Port's rail program, having learned a lot in various rail projects in the past 6+ years, including Pier B ODRSF. With the CCM credential I received during pandemic, I hope to get more hand-on construction management experience. Getting back to street and utility work, I am taking on a few pump station replacement projects with enhanced SCADA systems. Interestingly, I get to work on projects in all different stages: EIR planning stage, PS&E Design, construction procurement, construction, and O&M stage. Prior to 2016, my focus was Port's Pavement Management System as well as street improvement projects. Delivered Capital Improvement Projects on schedule and with competitive cost, from planning, funding to design and project closure. Since 2010, our Engineering Design teams have greatly contributed to the improvements of Port's infrastructures, including Ocean Blvd over LA River, Pico Ave/Pier D Street, Harbor Plaza/Harbor Scenic Dr/ Queens Hwy, Pier F Ave and West Anaheim Street. Our last street improvement project, West Anaheim Street Improvement, won the 2014 APWA and 2015 CTF Project of the Year Award in the category of transportation, mobility and beautification; and 2015 AAPA Award for its sustainability components. My Design Team was a key player in the Harbor Development Permit review process, and instrumental in POLB traffic management during construction. We have streamlined the Traffic Control Review process for the HDP review. The team also built up the Port accident database, address database and Port wide striping plans; and Implemented Port Street Moratorium Program.

• Construct traffic simulation models for the City of Los Angeles downtown area. Calibrate the simulation models to predict future traffic volumes and operation Level of Services. Projects include: Figueroa Transit Corridor Study, Universal Studio Expansion and Staple Center Development.• Prepared PS&E for infrastructure improvements for the Staples Center Development and Santa Clarita street improvement projects.• Participated in the PSR, preliminary design, safety analysis and cost estimates of ACE (Alameda Corridor East) Railroad Grade Separation program. It is a Federal funded program to grade-separate all at-grade railroad crossings from the Alameda Corridor to the Inland Empire.
