At the Blowing Rock Country Club, I was a part of the Communication and Marketing team. I assisted with all aspects of club life: content creation, event planning, communication with membership, conflict resolution, and more. During this position, I learned valuable insight into how to plan events and make tough decisions. I also learned about the importance of creating well-thought-out content and was able to send out a variety of graphics and event updates throughout the season.

As an intern for Spring Forward, I helped plan the event from start to finish. My tasks included creating graphics for social media, creating a promotional video, reaching out to alumni and professors, helping with catering orders for the event, being the initial point of contact via email, etc.

I worked under the Associate Strategic Communications Director to attend sporting events, write press releases, and collect and organize stats.
