Hi, I'm Julia, a talent operations associate for IPG Mediabrands, and a PhD student at Hofstra University, studying applied organizational psychology. My areas of interest are DEI work, leadership development and organizational culture. I obtained my Master's degree from Hofstra University in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in May 2024. During my master's I was a member of the WILD research lab, where I contributed to DEI research on campus. I was also a member of IOPSA, the student run IO club, and a social media contributor on the Brando & Joe IO Psych Podcast. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in psychology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. There, I minored in women, gender & sexuality studies, and was involved with many on campus organizations.I'm an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education, customer engagement, food service, and healthcare industries. I'm skilled in teamwork, team management, creative problem solving, organizational leadership, and social media. I am HOGAN certified, and have the skillset to administer and evaluate HOGAN personality assessments. Additionally, I am proficient in using Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Jira, Hubspot, Confluence, Canva, Riverside, and various social media outlets.I've been fortunate to have many opportunities to travel, including an internship for the Hamburg Media School, in Hamburg Germany. I've also been to Mexico, Canada, England, Scotland, The Netherlands, France, The Czech Republic, and Austria. I've found a lot of value in my travel experience, and having the opportunities to interact with other cultures. I aspire to work for a global company so I can continue to learn from the diversity of experiences the world has to offer. I love a good fun fact! So if you've read this far, here are a couple of my best fun facts:1. I was born in Lexington, Kentucky. (Go Cats!)2. I was a gymnast for 10 years and my final year, I was the Level 5 State Floor exercise champion.3. I love doing the NYT mini crossword. My best time is 23 seconds!4. I'm an Odyssey of the Mind World's Champion5. When I was 12, I was a foreign exchange student in Germany.I'm super open to networking, and making new connections!
