In that state, I strive to find the melody in the paint and to capture the true essence of my subject."A highly skilled fine arts artist, I studied with celebrated landscape painter, Pat Witt, of the Barn Studio of Art. I then went on to be formally trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. The extensive training that I received has given me the solid foundation to launch The Mural Movement, Creative Palette Interiors and Julia Anthony Fine Art. "Contemporary Realism” and "biophilic" are words that are often used to describe my style.My murals and paintings can be found in numerous private and public art collections throughout the United States. Encompassing over 7,000 square feet, my commissioned public art murals for the Escondido Public Library and the Oceanside Public Library are enjoyed by millions in San Diego County, CA. These murals have the tremendous power to positively influence and inspire children and their families. Showing the vibrant beauty, intrigue and crucial importance of our wildlife and sea life gives people an understanding of the incredible gift of nature, and helps instill a desire to protect these precious natural habitats.
