Nominated to serve and elected by my fellow members of the Board, I chair the board's meetings and help facilitate the business of the board, as well as the interactions between the board, committees, various community projects, and most importantly the Foundation staff.

Nominated and elected by the Open Infrastructure community to represent the member electorate on the Board of Directors.

Elected by my fellow members of the Board of Directors to serve them as a Vice-Chair for the year of 2020. My role was largely to support the Chair of the Board and serve in their stead. During this time I also took up chairing one of the standing committees until the next round of elections.

Joined HP, now HPE, to work on the OpenStack TripleO project and transitioned to working on the OpenStack Ironic project with a primary focus on the Bifrost sub-project. As part of the Bifrost sub-project, I have contributed to the OpenStack Infra business logic library "shade" and the OpenStack Ansible modules. I served as a team leader and subject matter expert for BareMetal as a Service/Ironic to the Helion product teams, and core contributor to the OpenStack Ironic project.

Worked with-in the Learning division Technical Operations team which supported developers and their development efforts. Largely my main focus was on the creation of Amazon CloudFormation scripts and Ansible playbooks to stand-up production like environments for integration testing. With this work, I created a method of layering templates for building out test stacks which might have varying requirements, and integrated the processes into Jenkins such that nightly test jobs could be built to verify the status of the environment code.

Rejoined TCDI to help drive the adoption of Agile Methodologies/SCRUM with-in the engineering teams while helping to further drive automation and adoption of new technologies like Elasticsearch, Jenkins CI, and Puppet.

Worked in a cross-disciplinary DevOps/TechOps team supporting development teams with their efforts to deliver software on a regular and timely basis via multiple avenues, and manage end user facing production systems hosting the developed software. From assisting with architecting context appropriate and scalable redundant systems, to managing continuous integration and development test systems, to enabling button click deployments, and helping drive high software quality coupled with excellent documentation. Leveraged Git, Gitorious, Puppet, Chef, Capistrano, Amazon AWS, Jenkins, Tomcat, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, nginx, and Ruby on Rails.

Managed a diverse Linux heavy server environment, along with supporting network, storage, Nagios/Zenoss monitoring, and VMware infrastructures. Managed data center facilities as well as data center expansion projects. Deployed and managed a BGP based redundant edge network infrastructure in order to ensure maximum uptime to customers. Served as point person for security and client driven audits. Performed consulting for key clients. Developed additional features in C based programs, as well as helper utilities in Perl and Bash.

Managed a 2n redundant network infrastructure, internal Linux servers, and Nagios based monitoring infrastructure. Performed development of custom ticket notification Perl scripts. Assisted customers with installation and troubleshooting in a highly redundant hosting data center environment.

Provided managed services of Windows/Exchange and Linux systems to customers, as well as consulting on new possible solutions to meet their needs. Deployed new server, network, and VPN infrastructures for clients.
