Involved in all aspects of vegetable and flower production and sales on the sustainable and historic 230 year old Lewis Family Farm in Southington.Additional Responsibilites:-Manages grant applications and awards for 501c3 non-profit educational farm -Implemented and manages the farm's first online store including customer relations, order preparation, order pickup, and inventory management -Manages and coordinates logistics of a 300+ member CSA program. Oversees cleaning, packing, and distribution for the CSA. -Creates marketing material such as social media posts and advertisements for the farm's programs

Leads and implements a diverse range of financial analysis in support of the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. This includes annual budgets, mid-year forecasts, multi-year financial plans, and monthly reporting in addition to off-cycle strategic projects.

Facilitates diverse financial analysis to support planning and budgeting at the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. This includes managing a portfolio of several school departments.-Reports and analyzes spending to budget on a monthly basis and provides recommendations to budget owners based on results-Develops annual operating budget and multi-year plan for administrative departments and provides support in the greater SEAS budget consolidation-Manages the personnel S&W budget, tracking, and reporting for all staff and faculty at SEASCapital Plan-Leads the capital planning financial process and reporting for SEAS. This is an annual process that involves all capital expenditures (including facilities renovations) for the outgoing 5-year termCampus Planning-Manages cross-functional relationships, data collection, and analysis for growth into SEAS' new Allston campus, including new O&M costs, capital investments, and strategic operational planning

-Supports plant controller with ad hoc finance reports and cost accounting-Collaborates on a cross-functional level to ensure production needs are met-Participation in Kaizen events on the manufacturing floor to drive efficiency and reduce waste-In depth use of SAP ERP and Microsoft Excel

-Took ownership of the reporting & analysis of consolidated sales results at a total company level. Utilized Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements on financial reports-Preparation of 2016 Operating Plan for SG&A spend in Corporate Stanley Black and Decker-Ad Hoc analysis and PowerPoint editing for executive leadership

-Record Journal Entries for Corporate Stanley Black and Decker using SAP system-Assistance in preparation of footnotes for 10Q filing, preparation of company guidance to new leasing standards, and company policy on cash in transit. -Project management skills used to help implement Lean and Six Sigma practices throughout the Controllership organization

-Reporting and analysis of Daily Sales and backlog for business units within the Engineered Fastening business of SBD-Month End reporting and improvement processes-Support of finance rhythms including Pre-Quarterly Review, Quarterly Review, Finance Council, and Budget
