Profile bio

About Julia Austin

I am a seasoned executive with a strong track record for implementing cutting edge products for rapidly scaling companies from very early to mature stages. After several decades of leading technology organizations with small teams in the early years that grew to thousands of employees at notable successful startups such as Akamai Technologies, VMware, Inc. and DigitalOcean, I shifted my career to focus on sitting on boards, advising, investing in and coaching startup founders and teaching entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School (HBS). I am a Certified Professional Coach and my clients cut across multiple industries including but not limited to quantum computing, augmented reality, 3D printing, gaming and healthcare technology. I am dedicated to using my experience by supporting innovation, reducing barriers to entry, and building strong communities. From my coaching and board work, to my non-profit, Good For Her, which fosters community for women and underrepresented founders, I am constantly paying it forward by offering my talents and resources to ensure the success of others.
