Content Specialist
CurrentI love working toward a cause. Since February, I have been assisting with the implementation of updated content on AHA's professional site (professional.heart.org). I have also jumped in to consistent improvement initiatives working on SEO and accessibility.I have also had the distinct pleasure of being the technical bridge between our internal clients and our technical team. Guiding them as project manager for new sections on the site.Additional responsibilities have included troubleshooting in Sitecore and video editing in Adobe Premiere.
Content Marketing Concierge And Web Developer
CurrentI create lead magnets and supporting content(web and materials) to help fill the top of your funnel with marketing qualified leads (MQL). Delivered monthly for you to stay fresh, without spending hours trying to figure out what you're going to create that would be relevant to your audience and your offers. Many at my skill level require an investment of 90-120k per year. For startups and mid-sized businesses trying to scale, that investment can seem daunting. The solution is to work with me. Where I provide you with tailored content and lead magnets at half the cost, that gets you the leads you need to grow.I only accept 10 clients a month. If you'd like to work together, please reach out for my availability.
Digital Content Specialist
- Proficiency in Sharepoint, Sitecore, and managing tasks via Azure DevOps - Experience with accessibility and UX design- Supported file versioning and management- Experience working with cross-functional teams and committees- Key member in identifying and solving bugs and other technical issues- Managed several states and business unit sites from basic content layout to implementation and maintenanceI really enjoyed learning and growing in this role. We were migrating content to the new external and internal site. I was given the opportunity to work with a great team to make Dominion's digital experience intuitive and efficient. I managed several states in building the external site (dominion.com), focusing on meeting the needs of the internal subject matter expert and our external customer. I made every effort to include accessibility, UX design, and analytics to support every taxonomy and layout decision made. Working together, the team supported and challenged each other to greater heights than any of us would have gone alone. I was also part of the team that built out the internal site. I managed several business unit sites and was a key member in supporting the internal client with creating a new, user-friendly experience where they could access their information and any other company information that they would need access to. The focus shifted here to usability, intuitive design, and making sure all supporting documentation was ordered in a way to make it easy to maintain and update.
Account Executive
Content Manager
- Created content marketing and inbound marketing programs from the ground up- Managed a team of internal and external content contributors to form a cohesive marketing strategy- Provided consultations to agency clients for SEO and social media strategy which resulted in significant (average of over 30%) increases in engagement and traffic- Managed agency PR campaigns in hand with marketing strategyAs a versatile writer, I was creating buyer personas one minute and press releases the next. I was given the opportunity to get my hands dirty with some light, back-end web development with blogging and website copy, and then create a meaningful impact by contributing to Seventh Point's charity efforts through newsletters and storytelling. I felt my strengths in networking and connecting to help others really shone as I started to build relationships with influencers. As Seventh Point's content and sales needs shifted I changed roles to continue building Seventh Point into the media powerhouse it's made to be.
Writer, Editor, Ghostwriter, And Content Manager
I've enjoyed the opportunities working freelance has afforded me. I've successfully managed multiple projects in industries ranging from real estate to wireless engineering. Working with experts and managing teams of content contributors to help diffuse and distribute their message has kept me learning and challenging me to grow. The most satisfying part of this work has been growing my client's brand engagement by over 50% in some cases through effective content creation and strategy.
Sales Development Representative
I joined RevBoss in March to develop what I'll fondly call, Sales Chops. While I was with them I learned: the in's and out's of managing software development, how to pique interest, make connections through outbound emails, negotiate meetings, and have passed off leads that have led to over $90k in sales across a variety of clients. Consistently delivering for clients has become a great passion, and I've learned what makes or breaks a business as it scales. RevBoss has been a joy to work with and for. I'm looking forward to watching them make a RevBoss imprint in the world.
Marketing Manager
This position was an exciting one due to its dynamic nature. CWNP is an organization that certifies on the wireless standard, rather than equipment. Comparable to CompTIA, I learned an incredible amount about wireless engineering, and network optimization. My greatest challenge, and success, was taking this technical subject and making it interesting - inviting even - to those just starting out.In the time that I was here it was exciting to watch as the CWNP community members came back with a renewed interest, where I managed to turn a 7% email open rate to 28%. I loved connecting with the wireless engineers, and, through a team effort, was able to re-establish all of the company's social presence creating a 100%+ increase in engagement on social media channels, and to the websites and forums.I took the initiative to update the CWNP and IDFA(another Certification Commission company) advertising documentation, making it into a comprehensive program with a substantial revenue - and more importantly, creating and nurturing meaningful relationships with our business partners and wireless vendors to work towards the future success of our organizations.I love seeing new ideas come through, so when I was given the opportunity to organize the CWNP conference in September I was thrilled! I organized a three day event around themes [Security, Analysis, and Design], and booked speakers accordingly.Working with CWNP was incredibly rewarding through the results I was able to achieve for them, and the impact that the organization has on the lives of their engineer members.
