I currently lead a team of six coral restoration practitioners in a land-based nursery working to support Mission: Iconic Reef’s restoration efforts in the Florida Keys. I work alongside NOAA, Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, Department of Environmental Protections, and other stakeholders to educate the community on coral restoration efforts along the Florida Reef Tract.• Managed ex-situ coral nursery (~16,000 fragments) consisting of 9 species of Caribbean/Western Atlantic stony coral, including threatened and endangered species • Outplanted 4,000 bouldering corals to the Florida Reef Tract using Nemo drills and marine epoxy • Microfragmented coral with a diamond-band saw and produced a yearly average of 7,500 fragments• Created SOPs for best husbandry practices• Prepared yearly reports for Special Activity Licenses (SAL) • Coordinated with federal, state, and non-profit organizations to develop educational programs

I educated scout crews (6-8 participants) during 7-day, 6-night marine STEM adventures in the Florida Keys. Curriculum included fish identification, shark research, island ecology, and coral restoration. • Developed and presented presentations and activities related to the Florida Keys ecosystems• Conducted BleachWatch, SCTLD, coral disease, and fish abundance surveys on snorkel• Submitted collective quantitative and qualitative marine survey data to non-profits• Led water quality testing activities with refractometers, thermometers, pH sticks, and dissolved oxygen titrations and analyzed results to determine marine ecosystem health• Demonstrated paddlecraft safety and guided ocean kayak tours to observe organisms living in seagrass beds and mangrove roots• Guided scouts through the construction of underwater SeaPerch robotics, encouraging trial and error, to build functional neutrally buoyant underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs)

I continued to design customized outdoor experiential education programs for groups of various ages and sizes. I led discussions during staff meetings to ensure goals were met. I hired, managed, and scheduled up to 40 staff. I trained staff to follow the Kolb experiential education theory, navigate through high ropes courses, conduct emergency high ropes rescues, and facilitate debriefing conversations. I performed course inspection, climbing gear inspection, belaying, knot tying, and emergency rescues to meet OSHA standards.

Based on the Kolb experiential education theory, I designed customized outdoor experiential education programs for groups of 8-80 individuals that focused on trust, effective communication, conflict resolution, and leadership. I led activities that included high-rope obstacles and on-the-ground challenges. After each challenge, I facilitated and debriefed deep group reflections to process all forms of learning, development, and change.

One of my favorite roles: I was a trained, college-aged mentor. I helped create a supportive and safe environment for 600+ students living in the dorm building. I assisted students in making the transition to living on their own by creating team bonding activities and referring students to campus resources such as mental health, LGBTQ+, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and career services. I enforced campus policy, mediated roommate conflict, and wrote Title IX and behavioral reports. Due to the trust I built with my residents, I was consistently chosen to respond to their urgent crises related to physical and mental health in which I guided them to the appropriate services.

I guarded the VIP stage entrance at the world's largest music festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to ensure that only clients with valid passes entered the stage. I protected entryways for musicians, such as Gavin DeGraw and Isaac Slade, during meet-and-greets to ensure musician and public safety.
