Hi, I’m Beatrice (officially Julia Beatrice, but in Mauritius, first names are just for fun). As an industrial psychologist with expertise in HR technology, I’ve dedicated countless hours — and plenty of coffee — to exploring digital solutions that enhance workplace efficiency and fairness. Over time, my interest in AI has only deepened, particularly in its ability to revolutionise HR and education. Together with my co-founders, we launched talentguide in 2022, an AI-powered platform designed to help organisations and individuals identify their current skillsets, predict the skills needed for future success, and discover educational paths to bridge those gaps. We pride ourselves on making skill development easy and actionable, offering personalised education recommendations to streamline growth.At the heart of my work is a desire to ensure people from all walks of life can find meaningful opportunities that match their strengths (and interests!). I’ve always believed that AI can play a pivotal role in mitigating unconscious bias in the HR process, ensuring a more inclusive future of work.When I’m not deep in HRTech and AI, I recharge by diving into the ocean or hitting the (hopefully right) notes with music. Both hobbies keep me grounded and inspired.
