We live in a world that is powered by technology, screens, and data. Our limbs extend through mobile devices and social media avatars, constantly in contact with content. How does one break the scroll - stop the thumb - encourage humans to put down their devices and look at each other, really look at each other? How do we create interactive content that inspires us to walk out of our house and smell a subtle breeze, crave earth under our fanciest sneakers? How do we use technology to hold safe spaces for hard conversations about economic equity, racial biases, gender & identity integration, and accessibility - encouraging a community to actually listen, hear, and most importantly, act?My mission is to use new media art, nature, technology, experiential design, and urban place making to re-build culture from the inside out. To form bridges between creative industries - radically shifting how artists, corporations, and cities work together symbiotically. Being on the precipice of a revolution where IoT, data science, and screen time rule our minds - how can we take back our humanity, come to our literal senses? How do we finally showcase important stories, bring together intersectional voices, give platforms to those that haven't been heard way too long, and inspire future generations to live a more grounded life, thriving within a creative community? These are the questions I want to collaborate, curate, and cultivate answering together. If it doesn't take a village, we're doing something wrong. Let's enjoy coming home together, again and again.
