BOREALIS is a free light art & projection mapping festival based in Seattle’s technologically booming South Lake Union neighborhood. The festival features a unique combination of awe-inspiring light-based installations, multi-dimensional performances, and projection mapping, designed to transform surrounding built environments and engage the community. Landmark buildings and facades become an urban canvas for unconventional storytelling by artists locally and from around the globe. During its premiere in 2018, Borealis brought together over 120K+ people from surrounding communities of Seattle, nearby states, and internationally.Borealis consists of two curated parts: USA’s largest competition of video mapped projections* featured on the facade of the Museum of History and Industry, and a series of light-based installations showcased throughout the South Lake Union neighborhood. Light installations will be artfully placed in plazas, parks, nooks, near the piers, and on the waters surrounding the area.

Co - Founded a local contemporary video art gallery. Curated 30+ new media shows in Seattle focusing on developing the video art community. Designed marketing materials and guerilla campaigns for a widespread audience via social media, web, and print. Developed unique programming for a mobile video screen with a team shown at various festivals. Edited show reels, managed youtube videos, selected works, designed flyers, and set up events. About: Interstitial Theatre is an artist-run contemporary video art gallery in Seattle, WA exhibiting work by emerging artists from around the world with an emphasis on screening work by West Coast based artists. Our programming is developed with the understanding that artists of varying disciplines utilize video as a medium, which is reflected in our interdisciplinary exhibitions. Examples of past interdisciplinary exhibitions include screening video art either along side or in the context of installation, sculpture, painting, live music and live performance of literary work.
