As a Risk Management major I have been very intrigued in the insurance world. With all the different types of jobs available, I am open to exploring and learning about all sides of insurance.Over the past 5 years I have worked at Tijuana Flats. This has taught me the ins and outs of how to efficiently deal with customers, how to work with a team of other workers, and even how to work under pressure. Working at Goldman Babboni Fernandez Murphy & Walsh as a clerical assistant was extremely helpful in learning how to be professional in an office environment. It taught me some background of insurance since every case dealt with a different insurance company. Another job I have worked was a pre-k teaching assistant where I pulled kids out of class for a one on one lesson. Teaching children of this age was a great patience lesson and taught me how to be overly kind and outgoing with a different audience I would be dealing with than normal. My most current job at JM Rankin, CPA has been more of a direct focus within the business world I want to dive into in the future.From being in a sorority and being involved with many groups within this organization, I have been great with meeting new people as I am already a very outgoing and extroverted person.I am looking for internships and a job once graduated in the insurance field and can't wait to dive into my future life.
