Additional responsibilities are:Initial communication with current and prospective customers.Initial assessment of technical site data to establish feasibility.Building & maintaining customer relationships to support business development.Follow up of quotations.Organisation of all exhibitions and Gilkes led events.Email led Marketing Campaigns.Attending Industry Exhibitions.Upkeep of customer/sales database & collation of management information.Market research. Providing Management Information.Implementation & Development of Turbine Supply Database.In addition to this role I am also a Health & Safety Employee Representative (RoES) and a member of the Health and Safety Committee.

Sales Support Supervisor, responsible for a team of 3 people providing sales & marketing support to an international engineering company. Offering full tender, proposal and pre-qualification support to the UK and Overseas business teams supplying full pipeline repair and on-site machining services. I also provided direct product sales for the companies full product range, key performance data and management information to Director level, booking & organising of all sales exhibitions & events, maintenance of customer database, marketing activities, company communications, preparation of powerpoint sales presentations, international travel bookings. In addition to this role I was a member of the continuous improvement group which was a project group for maintaining and improving the companies quality processes. During this time I played a key role in process mapping the companies business process which produced significant improvements to the handover of information between Sales and Engineering. I also conducted training to role out the new process throughout all departments.
