Julia is a Graphic Designer with over fifteen years of design and branding experience working with agencies and brands across London, Hong Kong, Adelaide and now currently based in Melbourne. Her strategically driven ideas push boundaries, forward-thinking communication ensures effective designs and her creative skills are highly regarded by all she has worked with.Julia began her design career at Norwich University College of the Arts, UK. Graduating with
a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design followed by full-time employment in London. Working with agencies and gaining a vast amount of experience in branding for a diverse range of businesses from fashion houses, charities, small businesses to national corporate companies within the recruitment, medical and banking industries. This led her to the role of Lead Designer for HSBC Private Bank Asia-Pacific region where she worked through two global rebrands.Upon relocating to Australia, Julia started working as a freelance designer with corporate clients in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. She also produced exhibitions as an artist/maker in Melbourne, Adelaide and Chicago. Julia then had the opportunity to work with
a strategic branding agency in Adelaide where she gained valuable insight into the Australian market. Since then she has relocated to Melbourne and has worked with numerous branding agencies before embarking on the freelance journey once more working directly with businesses across different sectors. She has also recently gained a qualification at a postgraduate level in UX and web design to add to her repertoire.Having spent the first 12 years of her life in Hong Kong, relocating to the UK and now residing in Australia, Julia’s work is strongly influenced by her culturally diverse background, often infused with Eastern and Western cultures.In her spare time, Julia explores her creativity through a diverse range of media: illustration, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery and dressmaking to name but a few. She firmly believes
there is creativity within all of us, and thrives on the contacts and connections she has made throughout her journey.
