Experienced community engagement professional with a demonstrated history of working in fields of community-based research, e-learning, and sustainability. I particularly enjoy developing new projects and programs from the bottom-up, turning an idea into reality, and working on initiatives with a positive social and environmental impact. I've worked as a social entrepreneur, co-founding two organizations and am very comfortable working in entrepreneurial environments. I’ve spent the greater part of my career as a facilitator, community builder and bridge between many diverse groups of people, from professionals, senior leaders, Indigenous organizations, community organizations and youth. My strengths are in facilitation, knowledge and community mobilization, research and report writing, program/project management, partnership development, and communications and marketing. I have my Master of Environmental Studies focused in Planning from the University of Waterloo and HBSc from the University of Toronto.
