As I pursue my Master's in Public Health, I'm focused on addressing critical global health challenges, particularly raising awareness about cancer in low to middle-income countries. Access To Medicines Oncology R&D FellowTakeda Oncology Nov 2017 - Nov 2022Cambridge, Ma, UsRanked as an "Industry Best Practice" by the Access to Medicines Foundation (see below for more info), the Takeda Access to Medicines Oncology R&D Fellowship program at Takeda supports local healthcare capacity building in underserved communities via remote & onsite work with teams at AMPATH in Eldoret, Kenya & Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCMC) in Moshi, Tanzania. As a fellow, I have been involved in several ongoing project workstreams including education & training, guidance and training on patient navigation and lymphoma diagnosis. During out last visit to Kenya, we helped connect our AMPATH and KCMC colleagues to share knowledge and best practices in diagnostics, which will have a significant impact on patients. -

Otau Business Operations ManagerTakeda Oncology Mar 2017 - Nov 2018Cambridge, Ma, UsAs business operations manager within the oncology therapeutic area unit, I am responsible for evaluating processes across the Takeda organization to develop more efficient solutions to support R&D simplification and transformation projects. • Designed new operating model for Data Monitoring Committees (DMC) across R&D as part of R&D Transformation. Examined each TA’s DMC process in order to streamline process across TAU. The new operating model significantly reduced administrative burden from TAs and study teams while increasing efficiency and ensures harmonization across TAs. I manage the Oncology Weekly seminar series which is a Boston based R&D program with the goal of updating and educating employees on evolving research, development and patient landscapes and showcase achievements. Most recently, it has evolved to become a platform to highlight existing Takeda partnerships and collaborations. I support patient access initiatives for oncology through active participation in Takeda-wide Access to Medicines, Expanded Access and Post Trial Access working groups. As part of my role with patient access initiatives, I identified and managed senior cross-functional group to ensure 21st Century CURES Act requirements were met and compliant in a timely and coordinated manner.

I led cross-functional coordination activities for all OTAU HCP meetings including Independent Data Monitoring Committees (IDMCs), Steering Committees and Adjudication Committees. In this role, I serve as the single point of contact for any questions, requests and/or needs related to these meetings. I also act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders while overseeing all logistics regarding meeting execution. I also supported patient access initiatives for oncology through active participation in Takeda-wide Access to Medicines, Expanded Access and Post Trial Access working groups.The Oncology Weekly seminar series is also managed through OTAU.
