I became professor in March 2022 – after more than fifteen years of experience as leader in digital high growth startups and as strategy consultant for large corporations. During these years, I developed a deep understanding of digital business models und digital operations and what it needs to make them successful in the scaling phase. Why did I become professor and what excites me about my role: - Building the “Digital Makers” of the future! - Strengthening an entrepreneurial mindset and skills among my students!- Deep-diving into new and experimential topics!- Never stop learning myself!What I currenly do:I am Academic Director of the study program “E-Commerce” at Campus Chiemgau, which is a new branch of Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences. As well, I have a couple of other functions in our newly established Campus, including being in charge for entrepreneurship at Campus Chiemgau.My research expertise centers around: digital strategy & digital business models, entrepreneurship, and digital operations. I am currently fascinated by the many possibilities offered by generative AI and I am intensively integrating them into my teaching and research practice.Looking forward to exchanging with you!
