As a Senior Technology Consultant a part of Industry Solutions Delivery, I lead a team of migration consultants to migrate our customers from their on-premises datacenters or other cloud providers to the Azure cloud. I lead the migration team through all migration phases: discovery, assessment, planning, migration and hypercare. Additionally- once our customers are in Azure, I support our customers to modernize and optimize their resources in Azure.Along with my customer work, I am an active member of the Women at Microsoft Employee Resource Group, a mentor to our Aspire College Hires and a Global Resource Management Calendar Accuracy Champ.

As a Technology Consultant, I worked with multiple customers to build their migration programs. I led the rationalization activities to identify servers which were good candidates to migrate to Azure. I also developed process guides and runbooks to develop a standard to be used across workstreams and timezones. Additionally- I was the lead technical consultant placed on migrations for countries which were in political distress, to migrate physical servers into Azure and reduce risk of data loss for our customers.

As an Aspire College Hire, I completed 6 months of training and onboarding as well as achieved the AZ 900 and AZ 104 Azure Certifications. In addition to the Aspire program, I worked with customers as a Migration Coordinator, owning a set of Applications and Servers in scope to migrate to Azure from on-premises datacenters. As a Migration Coordinator, I performed application owner interviews, technical assessments, architecture design, selected a migration strategy and oversaw the migration process.Outside of project work, I was an active member of the Women at Microsoft Employee Resource Group- Charlotte Chapter, DigiGirlz volunteer and mentor and planned virtual events for the department.

• Organized security control evidence and tested over 300 of those controls that three companies had in place to protect their client’s information• Delivered SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports for three companies to ensure alignment with current business and security practices and controls• Collaborated with client technical teams to receive a better understanding of risks involved in the organization and how to mitigate those risks efficiently

• Performed manual and automatic quality assurance testing on the mobile and desktop sites and iOS and Android apps• Self-learned IT quality assurance testing software of JIRA, QAComplete and Ranorex which uses the programming language C#• Analyzed over 80 high priority incidences in production and presented the findings of the root causes to decrease company-wide downtime• Designed and implemented a RACI schedule, meeting cadence and standardized deliverable chart for the new Central Business Analysis team to create consistency and efficiency• Researched, created and presented four business process flow templates and re-created nine different processes using the new templates in Microsoft Visio

• Collected the requirements, surveyed interest, analyzed the results, and designed and created a SharePoint site that promoted collaboration between the IT department and the rest of the business• Designed and created a webpart for a business process monitor within SharePoint that was presented at a national SAP conference by managers• Updated over 900 jobs within a system that supports SAP to reduce hours of unneeded time on incorrect information within the system and promote faster turnover rate of submitted tickets• Facilitated meetings between the Strategic Support Team and other IT Teams to ensure the quality of job failure instructions

• Collaborated in a team of seven to identify and solve technical issues with school district computers, printers, projectors, phones and AV equipment within a four-building complex• Provided high-level of customer focus and service excellence for faculty, staff and students, resolving technical issues and conveying technical information in a digestible, understandable manner • Set up and dismantled computer and technical equipment for classroom and auditorium presentations and functions• Installed monitoring and anti-virus software, as well as other needed programs based on faculty or project requirements
