As an Interconnection Specialist, I provide support to the development team, and I am responsible for the daily follow up on the solar interconnection process.I serve as an advocate who stands in the gap for the customer. I have successfully established relationships with various utilities and I connect with them daily to ensure interconnection applications are processed, reviewed and expedited in a timely manner.The overall goal is to get the customer’s solar system activated as quickly as possible so they can begin participating in conserving our ecosystem and taking advantage of the benefits and rewards that’s come with having solar.This role requires self-discipline habits, consistency, great communication skills and patience. I suppose and report directly to the Director, Project Development (Interconnection and Land Development), or another senior management personnel that the President of the Company may designate.
