Fueled by a deep commitment to public health and mental wellness, I strive to make meaningful changes in health policy and law that ensure everyone has access to compassionate, effective care. My journey began with hands-on roles in consulting, advocacy, and education, where I led initiatives focused on body respect, mental health awareness, and wellness programming. Each experience strengthened my resolve to address gaps in our healthcare system, particularly for those impacted by eating disorders, mental health challenges, and food insecurity.As I work toward my MPH and pursue my long-term goal of becoming a leader in health law, I am dedicated to shaping policies that protect patients and prioritize their well-being. I envision a healthcare system that not only prevents harm but fosters true health improvement—one that prioritizes patient dignity, reduces exploitation, and promotes safety measures that support healing and resilience.Outside of my studies and advocacy work, I find inspiration through creative pursuits and exploring the outdoors—especially in the mountains. These experiences remind me of the importance of balance, self-care, and connecting with the world around us. I’m excited to continue this journey and connect with others who are passionate about building a healthier, more equitable world.
