By the time I was pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism, cities and urban studies were my main interest. After college, I was motivated to deepen my knowledge on this topic, which led me to join the Post-graduation Program in Urbanism at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, in the field of Landscape Architecture. Therefore, during the last years, I have dedicated my work as an urban planner and researcher in planning strategies for sustainable settlements within their interrelation with the environment and public policies. Besides, my professional background provided me the possibility to expand my contact with a social sphere, being part of a private investment program for social impact. In this way, I could develop my management abilities focused on grassroots organizations’ initiatives, having an enriching experience with private and development sectors.Currently, I have the international certification of Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro), I am a Fellow of Youth Climate Leaders (YCL) and also a Climate Leader trained by The Climate Reality Project. Therefore, I am willing to contribute to the development of projects that encompasses a connection between urban, environmental, and social spheres. My specific research interest lies in landscape planning and urban development, fomenting the discussion around topics related to open spaces system, landscape ecology, biodiversity, water dynamics, nature-based solutions, climate change, public polices, and resilient cities.
