In addition to improved timelines, this tactic also greatly improved our vendor relations.In a three week window, I sourced a manufacturer and managed a full production for an Unbound product for the quarterly subscription box. Adhering to this short timeline allowed Unbound to ship out their November 2016 box on time with a branded product. This was important for customer satisfaction as well as increasing brand recognition. Later, I sourced a manufacturer and managed a full production of an Ally safety pin jewelry piece in a two week time window. This was in response to the 2016 election and was a part of a feminist collection that rocketed Unbound into the public eye. The fast turn around of this production was pivotal to the success of the Ally pin. While my engineering background helped the collection become a reality, my time at Unbound has taught me an absurd amount about branding, marketing, and content creation. -
