I joined Dyslexia Action when I was asked in my capacity as communication coach to help a senior member of the Board team to prepare for her public life as a representative of the DA. I got to know everyone and became a dedicated supporter of their work. I chaired the 2004 Dyslexia Awards Dinner at the Dorchester, raising over £130,000. I've worked with young dyslexics in prison and helped by giving workshops and running seminars in communication for DA teachers. I now sit on the developement board to help raise money and come up with good ideas! If anyone wouyld like to know more please don't hesitate to get in touch. I have also coached many entrepreneurial leaders and senior business people in confident communication.

I helped to Found this Womens Networking Club to support the fudraising initiative of the Eve Appeal in its clinical research for Ovarian cancer, the club has helped towards the major breakthrough in identifying the gene of ovarian cancer, I am very proud to have helped in this way, the 500 club has raised over a quarter of a million so far just from individual women, we meet at events and support each other, we are from all walks of life, please join us!

I helped to found and run BATCO for its first 3yrs, we worked without directors and did everything together as a team, it was a very exhilerating time. I also played some of the major shakesperian roles including Lady Macbeth! This experience helped me to see how you could bring many more personal abilities and talents to the world of the theatre, not just the one of actor! This in turn gave me very useful skills and human insights when I started my business, Personal PresentationLtd.
