About Julia Goulet

Four years ago I built a company from the ground up and established a brand that was all my own. In the summer of 2019, my lifelong dream of owning a women’s clothing store became a reality when I opened the doors of Late Bird Boutique. Since then I’ve been a “Jill of all trades”, handling every aspect of the business from retail buying, fashion merchandising, inventory management to day-to-day operations, website development, social media management and community relations.Here’s the thing: no one warned me how difficult it is to single-handedly run your own business (!!!) Just kidding; of course they did. But what they forgot to mention is how difficult it is to maintain a new business when a pandemic is thrown into the mix. And though I’m forever thankful for the opportunity I’ve been given and the invaluable lessons in business management that accompanied it, I’m ready to close this chapter of my career and start fresh by “getting back to basics”. Right now I’m looking forward to connecting with a company that I feel passionate about, where I’m able to put all that I’ve learned, during my 8+ years of working in retail, into practice.
