Following a successful career in industry, Julia founded her first business North West Childcare in 1999 (now trading as Harris Childcare Recruitment) after looking for a nanny for her own children and finding herself unsatisfied with the standard of help available. Julia then set up The Housekeeper Company, specialising in providing housekeepers and other domestic staff to clients nationwide. This then led to the launch of The Carer Company, providing companion/carers in households. A mother of two sons and a very spoilt small dog, our yardstick for applicants is whether we would feel comfortable having them working in our own home and we only proceed if the answer is yes.One of the most trusted, respected names in childcare and domestic recruitment, with thousands of successful placements to her name, Julia knows exactly what our clients require from a domestic recruitment agency.
