I am a part of the Internationalization department at Vinnova, Sweden's governmental agency for system innovation. Here I am the National Contact Point (NCP) for three programs within Horizon Europe, EU key funding program for research and innovation. The programs are the European Innovation Council, the European Institute of Technology and Research Infrastructures.Main tasks: - Provide guidance to potential applicants and beneficiaries, evaluating eligibility of proposals and teaching the application process.- International traveling to participate in EU member state meetings for NCPs.- Monitoring developments in area of expertise and policy field.- Performing general clerical and administrative tasks.- Organize information activities, such as seminars, newsletters, conferences.

Business developer at the head office of Big Science Sweden, Swedens industrial liaison office (ILO) for big science research facilities. Main activities are already listed below in my time at Chalmers Industriteknik. In addition to the main tasks I start up a new outreach mandate for the ILO office to promote career opportunities at research facilities.

Business developer for Big Science Sweden, Swedens ILO office in big science. The office main mission is to increase industrial return and collaboration for Swedish industry and academia towards large scale research facilities. The office is the Swedish industrial liaison for 13 facilities from spallation and radiation facilities to research centers for particle physics, fusion and ground based space. Some examples are CERN, the European Spallation Source (ESS), the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) and the European Southern Observatory (ESO).Main tasks:- Coordinate published procurement documents to Swedish industry with suitable profile.- Source Swedish suppliers interesting for the big science market.- Follow-up the preparation of offers, answer questions and remind of deadlines.- Participate to ILO meetings, business forums and site visits.- Plan and execute networking events such as: theme-based technical workshops, conferences with one on-one meetings, weekly reviews of ongoing procurements.

Vacuum engineer in the Beam Vacuum Operation section where I validated different bake out procedures for vacuum sectors of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Bake out refers to the process of heating vacuum pipes while pumping down the system so more gas and contaminants are removed. In the straight sections of the LHC the vacuum system is internally coated with a non-evaporable getter (NEG). The NEG is activated thermally and passively pump particles from the system when it has cooled down. The bake out procedure for the LHC need to remove gas and contaminants while not saturating the coating of activated NEG and with minimum radiation exposure. New procedures were needed to give more options to personnel commissioning vacuum systems in the LHC and make it easier to limit the radiation exposure time.Main tasks:- Laboratory testing and verification of bake out procedure validated for use in LHC sectors to reach ultra-high vacuum (UHV) regime, 1⋅10-7 to 1⋅10-12 mbar.- Cross-reference laboratory results with Monte Carlo simulations of 3D-models of vacuum systems with the software Molflow+.- Defined outgassing limitation of vacuum system components to be installed in the UHV transfer lines to the anti-matter experiments from the Extra -Low Energy Anti-matter (ELENA) ring.- Vacuum system commissioning with pump-down, leak detection and NEG activation in the LHC.- Test different types of residual gas analyses (RGA) for validation of use during commissioning of vacuum sectors in the LHC.

During my time as a technical student at CERN I learned various skills in vacuum science technology ranging from experimental tests in laboratory, vacuum simulations, in-situ interventions in the accelerators and to collaborate in a multi-national research environment. My work was summarized in my 60 ECTS master thesis: Vacuum simulation of Non-Evaporable Getter (NEG) coated components for distributed pumping in the Extra-Low Energy Anti-matter decelerator (ELENA)Main tasks:- Test components for UHV validation before installation in ELENA, including thermal activation of NEG coating, RGA analysis, leak detection and outgassing estimation. The results was presented in a technical report for each component.- Build a 3D-model of the ELENA ring and simulate the estimated pressure based on the experimental results, using Molflow+.- Present my work and results internally in the Vacuum, surfaces and coating group at CERN.- Vacuum interventions during technical stops in the LHC.

A 12 months internship distributed over two years at the French outdoor sports company Salomon, developing a concept of snowboard bindings from idea to launch in pre-production.Daily activities:- Prototyping : CAD modelling, machining, water jet cut, manage orders of CNC machined and injection molded components.- French as work language.- Develop prototypes in consensus with requirements from marketing, design office and production team.

Technical writer at Arcam AB (now GE Additive) were I documented maintenance procedures for the vacuum system and software troubleshooting for their machine Q10.The company is specialized in production of machines for metal additive manufacturing. The machines build components for aerospace and medical applications from metal powder and electron beam melting (EBM) technology.Main tasks:- Document service routines for the EBM machine Q10- Manage meetings with application engineers and service technicians- Transform 3D-models into bill-of-material structured illustrations

Improved the usability in text and illustrations in the service manual for the vacuum system in Arcam’s Electron Beam Melting-machine Q10. Arcam is a Swedish manufacturing company specialized in additive manufacturing with titanium-alloys for 3D-printing of orthopedic implants.
