Went on a three week abroad trip gaining extensive knowledge and experience of new cultures, histories, and independency in traveling. Visited a vast array of historical sites, monuments, fortresses, concentration camps, museums, operas, and other touristy sites. Learned the negative effects of ethnocentric viewpoints and established a clearer understanding of own personal values. Partook in a seven week preparatory class to prepare for the upcoming venture and also a seven week reflection class that accentuated on the teachings and takeaways the trip gave to me through expression in six to seven papers regarding the cultural divergence and experiences.
