In this role, I was tasked with negotiating hotel and vendor contracts for various events, coordinating all aspects of regional sales kickoff meetings (including guest speakers, menus, décor, and vendors), and managing incentive events (including online registration, hotel, air travel, meals and entertainment). In addition to on- and off-site meeting management, I maintained the Meetings, Awards & Promotions website, and created flyers and on-pace reports for sales promotions.In an effort to strategically reduce expenses for recurring meetings, I designed the “meetings-in-a-bag” concept to minimize travel costs. Our team was successfully able to eliminate an on-site contact for smaller, routine meetings.As part of a Rotational Development Program, I supported a few different teams.
