-Authored and facilitated 15+ plans, federal applications, and community reports that propelled initiatives with new funding and strategy, including the Education strategy for $30M grant for HUD Choice Neighborhood and $300M tax plan to expand access to affordable, high-quality pre-K.-Redesigned and relaunched the HIREKC youth employment program in 2017 by partnering with KCSIC, which increased youth hired from 71 in 2016 to 632 in 2018, a 790% increase in 2 years. -Sought out and secured $250K in funding to bring to Kansas City two leadership programs, Urban Leaders Fellowship and Parent Leadership Training Institute, developing 30+ young professionals and parents to be advocates, policy analysts, and change agents for children.-Coordinated and implemented community events & built strategic partnerships to take action on education challenges, such as 30 million Word Gap, student mobility and evictions, Pre-K, and school suspensions.

-Recruited 15+ high-quality candidates by establishing relationships with mission-aligned organizations, including Teach For America, collected referrals, and planned recruitment events. -Wrote and posted position announcements and developed a candidate tracking system to effectively manage hiring operations.-Navigated candidates through a rigorous selection process, which included mission-fit screens, teaching sample lessons and reference checks.
