I'm originally from Southeast Texas, and I have the accent to prove it!I'm currently a member of the Public Relations & Communications team within the Marketing Department at Jones Walker LLP, where I interned during my time at LSU.In my current position, I get to share attorney and firm achievements through PR initiatives, manage social media accounts, write internal and external firm communications, and conduct research for business and professional development purposes. As an intern, I planned corporate events, and assisted in maintaining both civic and charitable sponsorships.I'm fortunate to have found my passion in communications, marketing, and public relations. I have years of experience in non-profit organizations and legal marketing. I strive to work for businesses and brands that make a positive difference within their communities.I'm a graduate of the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University, where I received my B.A. in Mass Communication and minor in Political Science.As a student as LSU, I explored my passions through many organizations, like LSU’s chapter of PRSSA. My home was the on-campus news station Tiger TV. I worked as a reporter, training specialist, assistant news director, on our socials team, and as the Operations Manager and Alumni Coordinator. I am a former member of the 3+3 Pre-Law Student society, and Manship Ambassadors. I'm certified in Adobe Premiere Pro, fluent in writing AP Style, experienced in digital, nonprofit and email marketing, and I love creating and posting digital content on various digital and social media platforms. I enjoy coordinating and planning events, both large and small scale, and finding creative ways to write for an intended audience.Some of my professional skills include: Sprout Social, YouTube, Meta Platforms & Ads, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, AP style, Canva, InterAction, CRM systems, legal marketing, data analytics, SEO, advertising, branding, event planning, business development, management, market research, email marketing, interpersonal communication, creativity, non-profit fundraising, sponsorships, teamwork, and independent work.
