I work with cross-functional teams researching, designing, and implementing transportation electrification programs for ICF clients. I enjoy supporting the clean energy transition by helping to increase the use of electric vehicles in passenger and fleet applications and the installation of electric vehicle chargers. I perform data analysis and market research and engage with trade allies and clients to deliver outstanding solutions. I am excited to create more efficient processes and automate workflows to improve team success and scale.

I became the go-to Subject Matter Expert for all SaaS solutions advancing electric and gas utilities’ Customer Experience, Energy Efficiency, Electric Vehicle, and Grid Analytics capabilities through innovative AI and ML disaggregation-based solutions. I consistently liaised with Sales, Product, Onboarding, and Leadership Teams to answer client questions. I crafted RFPs, proposals, presentations, program designs, savings forecasts, and executed customer calls to deliver innovative solutions to meet client needs.

6 month Fellowship in which I used my research and thought leadership skills to help create policies that will shape the future of a democratized, decentralized web. I worked to further our understanding of how web3 may be sustainably built and how it may affect future sustainable solutions.

I ran Guidehouse Insight's Energy Blockchain solution writing reports and working with clients on custom projects. I helped update and create energy trackers and databases on a range of topics such as hydrogen, solar, wind, energy storage, electric vehicles, and more. I consulted on client projects on similar topics writing targeted research reports and white papers.

I continued to work for E Source as a contractor and contributing to E Source's valuable research and data teams. Projects: contributed to the 2021 utility website benchmark review; collected data on utility's detailed line extension policies; a weekly report on the best preforming utility social media posts.

In my second internship role at E Source, I continued to answer energy utilities' questions, in this role focusing on program specifics as opposed to marketing strategies. I had the opportunity to delve into the current Electric Vehicle landscape, researching and collecting information on utilities' EV programs. Additionally, I researched and wrote about solar programs and smart meters.

E Source provides support through customized analytics for hundreds of utility companies in North America. As an intern for E Source's Marketing and Communications Research team I researched and wrote responses to utilities' questions on how to best engage customers through their energy efficiency programs. Additionally, I am cleaning data for a useful web tool that E Source and utility companies use to inform their marketing strategies.

My role at Vessel Works was an exciting adventure where I was able to learn the ins and outs of a small startup in the reusable system world. Vessel aims to create and maintain multiple circular economies for shared, reusable drink and food containers. I was a research analyst, handled day to day operations, and maintained national and international group relationships. I also contributed to rebranding of the website, grant research, and company strategy.

Solar stewards is a forward-thinking company working to standardize social Renewable Energy Credits. We are working to facilitate community-facing solar projects working with companies, investors, municipalities, and communities to provide secure long-term, high-return clean energy investments.My individual project focused on researching Peer-to-Peer technology and clearly communicating my findings that the technology is, and should be seen as an asset that can democratize solar energy and allow solar host sites to efficiently sell excess energy.

This summer I participated in the Effective Altruism Fellowship through Brown. The effective altruism (EA) movement aims to create a community of people who are compassionate and want to help others through donations, volunteering, or in their career. EA, unlike general altruism, uses evidence and reason to understand how to do good effectively, attempting to nail down what problems should be prioritized first. The fellowship provided a space for me to discuss and think critically about the many difficult global issues of our time-- from poverty and disease to existential issues like climate change, AI risk, and nuclear war. We discussed potential solutions to problems, focusing on EA’s three main criteria for determining how to prioritize issues: neglectedness, tractability, and importance. This fellowship challenged me both on an educational level, and on a personal and moral level by asking questions like: How much money and time can and should I put towards solving these issues? Which issues? How in my career can I more efficiently do good? Is it worth putting more time and energy into a problem that is more (or less) solvable right now?This fellowship’s type of thinking can be applied to any problem. Systemic, strategic thinking, particularly when attempting to solve sustainability problems, is essential to making equitable, lasting, impactful change-- and to get one’s money’s worth. Thank you to Emma Abele and my cohort leader, Adin Richards, for the time and energy they spent to make this fellowship run smoothly and with lively, open discussions.

I worked with Eleanor Waxman’s fiber optics lab studying long distance atmospheric air particle levels. My main project was creating a python program that put large data sets into customized graphs for the team's future use.
