It incorporates a Global Safety Data Warehouse (SDW) and Data Mart. Data is extracted nightly from 5 source systems, allowing users to query via Business Objects and have a faster mean of accessing and analyzing critical safety data. This project supports the Safety Evaluation and Epidemiology (SEE) group within Regulatory Affairs with regulatory reporting, pharmacovigilance, labeling reviews, and a wide range of complex analysis. In addition, every aspect of this project was developed and implemented to provide a validated system that is 21CFR Part 11 compliant. Led team to design , develop, maintain and implement logical/physical data models (Staging, Data Warehouse, Data Mart) throughout 15 releases. Decreased Extract Transform Load (ETL) program’s from 20 to 6 hours by using advanced Oracle features.
