As an On-Call Substitute Teacher at United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona, I support the educational, social, and emotional development of children in the Early Learning Center. Working closely with the Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher, and ELC administration, I assist in delivering curriculum and classroom activities, maintaining an engaging, respectful, and safe environment for the children. My responsibilities include helping with lesson planning, assessing children's progress, and maintaining classroom records and cleanliness. I engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and foster positive communication.

As a Recreation Specialist for the City of Chino Hills Day Camp, I ensure our campers have a safe, fun, and engaging experience. I plan and monitor daily activities and weekly excursions, catering to the interests and needs of our campers. I train and supervise camp staff to deliver high-quality programs and handle conflicts among campers or staff effectively. I also communicate with parents to address their concerns and questions. I manage the opening and closing of city facilities, ensuring security, and work closely with the Day Camp Coordinator and other leaders to maintain a cohesive camp environment. My goal is to create a memorable camp experience that fosters personal growth and community spirit.

As a Senior Recreation Leader, I took part in coordinating and leading a variety of activities for a summer day camp, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and socialization activities. I provided training, scheduling, and leadership to ten of the city's teenage volunteers, ensuring that our programs ran smoothly and efficiently. I was also responsible for chaperoning youth participants on day excursions, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Additionally, I assisted in the opening and closing of city facilities, making sure they were secure and well-maintained. I frequently interacted with the public, addressing inquiries and providing information about our programs.

During my time as a Recreation Leader with the City of Chino Hills, I was responsible for monitoring Grand Avenue Park, where I took care of the grounds, closed parks and trails, and performed basic maintenance tasks. I also registered patrons for adult and youth sports, while coaching youth sports, as well as supervising adult soccer games and practices. Alongside this, I provided partial supervision for a summer camp environment, overseeing the safety and well-being of 50 children.
