A leader on Edelman’s Federal Government Services team, Julia has experience managing multifaceted, multimillion dollar federal contracts. She led the successful pursuit of, and currently serves as Program Manager for, a quickly growing federal BPA contract with a ceiling of $100 million, providing project management and strategic oversight for numerous independent teams. She also leads the team serving as the de facto press office for the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, which is supported by HHS' Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, where she provides senior-level guidance and handles high-profile or controversial media requests. In addition, Julia currently leads a digitally focused account that promotes the Spanish-language version of the Healthcare Marketplace, CuidadodeSalud.gov, on behalf of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Her experience also includes running a contract supporting the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Office of Communications and leading numerous new business efforts.
