About Julia Landauer
Julia Landauer is a 2X champion NASCAR driver from New York City. An entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, keynote speaker, and advisor, she also currently works on the Strategy & Innovation team at NASCAR.Since making history has the first and youngest female champion in the Skip Barber Racing Series at age 14, Julia has amassed dozens of wins in many different racing series. She became the first woman to win a NASCAR Track Championship at Motor Mile Speedway in her division in 2015, then finished 4th in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship, becoming the highest finishing female in the series’ 62-year history. She has raced in the Canadian NASCAR Pinty's Series and became the first woman to ever lead a lap in the series. In 2020 she finished 5th in the EuroNASCAR 2 Championship, the highest ever for an American. She most recently raced part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.In January of 2017, Julia was selected as an honoree for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the sports category. Julia was also the only female member of the highly selective NASCAR Next class of 2016-2017. Off the track, Julia graduated from Stanford University in 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, and Society. She focused on business and how modern technology can be applied to racing. Julia has since purposefully built her brand where technology, community and racing intersect and fuse. While in college, Julia also competed on the CBS show SURVIVOR and started her public and motivational speaking career. Her activities on and off the track have been recognized by many publications, including The New York Times, espnW, Inc., NBC sports, Bloomberg Businessweek, and many more.Julia serves on the advisory board of the Shift Up Now Foundation, which provides education, resources, and grants to women racecar drivers.
