I am a self-driven, independent worker, but I also am a great team player, which I developed during 16 years of dancing recreationally and competitively. During those last eight years, I was a team leader on my dance team and have grown up working with people. Through this experience, I earned many responsibilities from my teachers and helped them coordinate instruction, choreography, and music. I also had the opportunity to intern in the finance department at Meritor and working in the office with a great group of people helped me realize again why I love business. While working primarily in Meritor's accounting group for two summers, it gave me a good overview from the viewpoints of accounting, consolidations, and external reporting. Based on my experiences my ideal work environment would consist of a collaborative and open-minded space that encourages growth.
