In 2008, I was appointed as Director of Fund Development of the Chinese Hospital Foundation, a provider of linguistically/culturally competent, affordable healthcare to the Chinese Community in the Bay Area. ► Set up the Fund Development Office and helped lead a $160 million campaign to build a new community hospital, the largest and most important capital campaign in the Hospital’s over 100-year history. Tremendous success was achieved in raising the community awareness of and the necessary funding to achieve that goal. ► Implement an employee and physician campaign, including a direct marketing program, as well as the creation of a planned giving program, which I developed for the Hospital► Engage individuals, corporations and foundations and create a philanthropic environment both within the hospital system and in the community to generate financial contributions that exceed goals of a multi-million $ capital campaign
