Communications Specialist
CurrentCASCW's mission is to improve the well-being of children and families at risk of becoming, or who are involved in, the child welfare system. We do this by educating university students, training human service professionals from multiple areas of expertise, fostering collaboration across systems and disciplines, informing policymakers and the public, and expanding the child welfare knowledge base through research and evaluation. We are committed to helping professionals address the diverse challenges that families may face, including systemic racism and other inequities, to ensure every child has their opportunity to thrive. As the Communications Specialist, I lead the planning and execution of CASCW's communication efforts, and am dedicated to translating research to practice for the child welfare audiences whom we serve.
