In my current position, I blend my operations and finance strengths as a COO while also leading our Finance team. Some of my most significant accomplishments include turning our asset management business profitable after 10 years of stagnation, helping to lead an M&A, and reducing headcount while accelerating turnaround time on key finance processes and deliverables (month end close).Over the years, I’ve broken through glass ceilings and overcome cultural barriers to achieve my goals. I’m a Latina woman (born and raised in Brazil) with Taiwanese parents and I’ve lived and worked in the UK, Hong Kong, and the U.S. Instead of seeing them as hindrances, I have always viewed my multinational experience and my status as a woman as strengths – I am skilled at building partnerships, leading teams, and helping others succeed no matter the obstacles. I’ve seen my parents overcome obstacles to build a life for our family and they inspired me with their work ethic, courage, and determination.
